It's great to try and plan your next masterpiece, but, does it really turn out to be a masterpiece or a disaster because you're 'trying too hard'.

If you have a creative side to you, you'll probably find you create better work when it comes from within, using your 'gut' feeling. Trust in yourself and your abilities and the rest pretty much takes care of itself.
The more you stress about creating your masterpiece, the worse it'll be, the longer it'll take to achieve and the more you become agitated.
In these moments, walk away, get some fresh air, take a walk, make a coffee... whatever you need to do, just to stop thinking the negative thoughts and come back fresh and ready to try again.
As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day! You need to make sure you're the creative zone before you try to create something. If you're not quite feeling it, you can do some rough sketched/paints to get you in the mood. If you're a photographer, literally take your camera into the garden and take 100 shots. This is sure to get your creativity flowing!
